Worlds Best Peanut Sauce

This versatile peanut sauce will win everyone over. You can pour it over noodles or rice, or use it as a dip for raw veggies, skewers, and more. The vinegar in the recipe preserves the sauce making it last well over a week in a tightly sealed container. Serving it over chilled soba or even spaghetti noodles with a sprinkle of scallions makes the perfect summer potluck offering! Whip up a batch and use it to flavor all your recipes throughout the week!


  • 6 TBL peanutbutter (creamy or crunchy, depending on your taste)
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup rice vinegar
  • 3 TBL cold water
  • 2 cloves chopped garlic
  • 2 tsp fresh grated ginger
  • 3 TBL sesame oil
  • 1 tsp sugar or agave
  • 1 tsp crushed red pepper (optional)


Combine all ingredients in a blender or food processor and blend until smooth. If you are using the sauce for dipping, the amount of water included in the recipe will be sufficient. If a thinner sauce is desired, add more water.

Makes about 1 1/2 cups of sauce
